Edward Ion, Director FWD Helix – Singapore

Edward Ion is the managing director of FWD Helix, our Singapore-based corporate communications operation (www.helixmedia.asia). Ed was previously a journalist with Lloyd’s List and Insurance Day, the international daily shipping and insurance newspapers, based first in London and then Singapore and Hong Kong. During his time with Lloyd’s List, Ed held various positions, including Deputy News Editor, Energy Correspondent, Insurance Editor and Editorial Director in charge of the paper’s output from Asia. He has worked closely with the Bloomberg and Reuters news agencies, among others, in training journalists covering the insurance, transport and shipping sectors.
